Tim Burton is a visionary when it comes to film, but I had no idea what sort of genius loomed inside his brain. His doodles were some of the most creative, nonsensical and brilliant things. DOODLES, mind you. On his desk blotter, a newspaper, anything he could get his hands on. He’s also a sculptor, and they’re super eerie like his little maquetts. Furthermore, he had a photography series of his sculptures in surrealist settings, as well as photos of Jack and Sally (from Nightmare Before Christmas) heads just laying on a table.
